Thelma Lamb Harryman

Thelma Lamb Harryman

"Thelma Lamb Harryman, our classmate and my good friend, died in Dec. 2001 from breast cancer. She fought this disease bravely. She lived in Idaho with her husband, Roger." - Diana Braun Ratzlaff

"I have several memories of Thelma Lamb. I went to my first boy/girl party at her house and everyone played spin the bottle. I was so embarassed that I decided to be the person who worked the light switch on and off. Ha! I was quite short and very thin at the time. I believe this was when we were freshmen, maybe even the eighth grade. I was also younger than most of the kids in my class. I graduated from high school when I was just barely 17 years old. I always loved Thelma's hair. She wore it in a page boy and it was always perfect and it was a gorgeous auburn red color. She always seemed so mature to me. She seemed womanly, while I was just a little girl. She also was a very neat and tidy person. Her clothes were always perfect. I remember looking in her closet and admiring her 30 or 40 cotton full skirts. Funny, the things you remember." - Linda Strother Dorr (Class of '61, but moved away her Junior year)
