LETTERS TO THE EDITOR:
Sports Fans Ask Coverage
Dear Editor,
I am writing concerning the sports page in our paper. I would like to
see a more detailed sports section complete with facts and figures and
what the league standings are, and the forecasts of coming sports
events.

Dear Dave,
The Windjammer Staff greatly appreciates your interest in the school
paper. Last year, being handicapped by an all-girl staff, we were unable
to present all the facts in a manner that was acceptable to both male and
female readers. This year we are fortunate to have a fine sports editor
in the person of John O'Neal. We are sure that the sports stories
will be presented in a better manner.
